How it works
Type a name, plate or code and get one code word per letter from the NATO/ICAO alphabet. Accents are removed and digits appear as Portuguese words.
Portuguese speakers also use informal city names (“A de Aveiro, B de Braga…”) but there is no single official table, so only the international one is used here.

Is it the aviation alphabet?
The words are the same; aviation pronounces digits specially (tree, fower, fife…), which is not used here.
